What is your ideal form of government? My ideal form is a Constitutional Republic

mine would be a democracy socialism hybrid. close to marxist communism(democratic communism).
but for elections, I'd use a system never used before. communities would vote for 9 members in a local council. this council would vote for 9 members for 9 members for the national council. these councils would vote for 9 members of an international advisory council which would advise the national councils. the international government has no executive power, only advisory power.

I'd like to see a form of representative democracy that does away with geographical representation. Instead, you can pick your own representative (from anywhere in the country) and once that person has 30,000 constituents they become a member of congress. the extreme fringe elements (those with less than 30,000 supporters) would not be represented, and all the dumbass newbs would have a very small voice because they would all vote for the same person. This system would proportionately favor people with brains, while ending the practice where your voice is lumped in with your retarded redneck neighbors.

Such a system would be within the boundaries of the Constitution as originally written, but would still require an amendment because previous amendments (designed to prevent gerrymandering) created additional requirements for redistricting.

It would be 100% aligned with the spirit of the constitution, which saw the lower house as the popular forum, more closely aligned with the will of the people, and upper house (Senate) as an elite body of wisened old men. This is why the entire house is up for re-election every 2 years, while Senators enjoy 6 year terms that are staggered so that only 1/3 of them are up for re-election at any given time. Furthermore, Senators originally were not popularty elected at all, but were instead elected by their respective state legislatures.

The founders intended that the House should reflect the will of the people. Any idiot can see that it does not. My proposal would correct this.

My Ideal form of Government is to live in a small Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune. Free from the Tyranny of Complete oversight by the Government, people take turns in a seat of power bi-weekly, and everyone shares everything...Heaven <3

most countries dont have a fair democracy though. any democracy where only the rich can afford to run is no democracy at all. that's what's good about my plan. it's an inexpensive democracy

Well,it's the only thing that came to mind.. But hey,, laws and policies are something that come with governments. and my idea of a government would include decrminalising physician-assisted euthanasia.
